Game Drives
There are 2 Game Drives available each day. The early morning safri starts at 06.00am and conclude at approximately 10.00am, whilst the late afternoon / sunset safari takes place from 3.00pm until approximately 6.00pm. Unlimited safaris can be arranged by prior request for special photography / videography purposes. The aforementioned safari times are indicated for best viewing times of the wildlife in the Park, as most animals will retreat out of sight from mid-morning until mid-afternoon.
Standard Safari Jeeps with bench seats facing each other are used for the Game Drives
Complimentary picnic basket with hot / cold beverages and sandwiches is provided on the morning safari
Complimentary hot / cold beverages are provided on the afternoon safari
A knowledgeable Naturalist shall be available for the Group / in the Campsite
The Jeep is shared between 6 – 8 guests**
** A range of Jeeps, both 2WD and 4WD are available. Depending on the National Park / Reserve and the safari routes used, the appropriate vehicle shall be used. It is not always necessary to use 4WD vehicle in the Parks
Food and Beverages
All meals which are served in the Campsites are freshly prepared by an Executive Chef using the freshest available fruits and vegetables from the local community. Fish and meat items are purchased from local fishermen and a reputable Food Supplier respectively. Each Camp has a fully-equipped kitchen complete with modern cooling and freezing facilities. Special dietary requirements can be catered to, when prior notice is given.
BBQ Dinner on one night in the Camp
Basic A La Carte meals, both Sri Lankan and Western are served for other meals
A well-stocked bar is available to purchase both local and international, alcoholic and soft drinks
Electricity
Due to the nature of the jungle environment electricity is run off the Camp Generator.
Laptops and digital cameras may be charged on request in the Campsite, evenings only
There is no electricity in the tent

The CSR work carried out by Eco Team has genuinely benefitted many local communities with whom we work in various capacities. Some of the highlights of work carried out include the Anti-Venom Project, Turtle and Leopard Conservation Projects, English classes and Pre-School projects.
Eco Team’s cancellation policy is advantageous both to clients and to the Company who promotes us, and there are absolutely no hidden clauses.
If Eco Team are forced to cancel program, no cost shall be incurred by the client. There an be a focrce de majeur, a rare and unforeseen occurrence where Eco Team may be forced to cancel – these reasons could include unusual weather and / or natural disasters. An alternative experience is offered in this situation, or a full refund is given.
Only Eco Team has the capacity to offer multiple Campsites within the same National Park, or other chosen location, with up to 4 parallel Camps operational at any given time.
We strictly prohibit all forms of hunting and poaching, and our Team is carefully selected for responsible practices in Sri Lanka’s wilderness.
Eco Team will not engage in practices which result in the stress, harassment or manipulation of any wildlife, and kindly request that our guests do not influence the Eco Team staff to do so either.
