• Arrive at the designated meeting point near the Yala National Park entrance at 12.30 pm.

• Get onboard a 4WD Jeep and be chauffeured to your campsite. 

• After reaching the campsite, explore your surroundings and relax near the picturesque river bank until it’s time for lunch.

• Enjoy a typical Sri Lankan lunch with locally sourced fresh ingredients and get ready for the evening safari which begins at 2.30 pm. Guests staying for 2 nights, may opt out of this safari and choose to do a full day safari the next day (more information below).  

• Return by 6.30 pm to the campsite which will be lit up by lanterns and a roaring campfire. 

• Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner around the campfire. 

• Overnight stay at Eco Team Explorer by Mahoora / Elite campsite.

• Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and explore your immediate surroundings until lunchtime.

• Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan lunch and get ready for the evening safari which begins at 2.30 pm. 

• Return by 6.30 pm to the campsite which will be lit up by lanterns and a roaring campfire. 

• Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner around the campfire.

Special note

Guests staying for two nights can, by pre-arrangement, choose to structure their safaris as two half day safaris spread across Day 01 & Day 02 or one full day safari spanning the whole of Day 02. Full day safaris require an early morning start from camp at 5.30 am and include a lip-smacking picnic breakfast as well as a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Both meals will be served mid safari at designated picnic locations within the Park.

Game Drives

• All entry permits, Yala National Park fees and government taxes for the entire stay are included.

• A shared Jeep with front-facing, comfortable and elevated seats will be provided for maximized game viewing and photography opportunities.

• An experienced Naturalist is provided for each jeep.

• A complimentary picnic basket with chilled beverages and snacks for the safari break will be provided.

• One half-day game drive per night stay will be provided, or one full day game drive is applicable for guests staying 2 nights.

• The morning safari starts from the camp at 5.30 am and goes on till 10.00 am. The afternoon safari starts from the camp at 2.30 pm and goes on till 6.00 pm. The Yala National Park officially opens at 6.00 am.

• Accessories such as monopods, bean bags, etc. can be provided to wildlife photographers on pre-request.

• Unlimited water will be provided.
